考研长难句中介词使用原则

提到介词，考生们很头疼。考研词汇动词一千多个，介词二三十个，排列组合起来重要的就几千个，不可能记住。其实完全没有不要去记忆这几千个动词介词搭配。 经笔者梳理发现，一般而言，考研文章中一旦考察动词介词搭配，都是一些耳熟能详的搭配，即使出现不熟悉搭配，也可以通过上下文关系进行猜测。

根据对历年真题句子的梳理，介词考察时主要考察两种情况：

一、介词和动词搭配构成并列关系。

二、介词短语单独出现构成分隔结构(一般而言，若介词短语不做定语， 肯定就做状语，一般出现在段首或段尾，但考研阅读文章中，介词短语一般出现在句子中间，分隔主谓语，谓语宾语等等)

比较典型的例子如下：

一、介词短语在句中的并列使用

1. How well the predictions will be validated by later performance depends upon the amount, reliability, and appropriateness of the information and on the skill and wisdom with which it is interpreted. (通过and连接，depend同时搭配upon和on)

2. There is no agreement whether methodology refers to the concepts peculiar to historical work in general or to the research techniques appropriate to the various branches of historical inquiry. (通过or连接，两个介词to都和refer搭配，构成并列结构)

3. It applies equally to traditional historians who view history as only the external and internal criticism of historic sources, and to social science historians who equate their activity with specific techniques.(通过and连接， 两个介词to都和applies搭配，构成并列结构)

二、介词短语的分隔结构

1. This trend during the Second World War when several governments came to the conclusion that the specific demands cannot generally be foreseen in detail began.(介词短语分隔主谓语)

2. Vitamins are organic compounds necessary in small amounts in the diet for the normal growth and maintenance of life of animals. (介词短语分隔necessary for)

3. The second aspect is the application by all members of society, from the government official to the ordinary citizen, of the special methods of thought and action that scientists use in the work.(介词短语分隔application of)

4. By contrast, they saw in the preceding hundred years from 1650 to 1750, when England was still a completely agricultural country, a period of great abundance and prosperity.(介词短语分隔谓语宾语)
